While it is close to central Tokyo, you can take your time enjoying the view of the flowers due to the far fewer number of tourists in the area than in the well-known spots.

Hydrangeas with a wide variety of colors from blue, purple, pink, white, and more bloom across and fill up the hill. Even within each type, every hydrangea has its own unique shape and color which makes it fun to compare and spot differences among the flowers as you stroll around. On rainy days the colors become more vibrant, and you can enjoy that Japanese-style “rainy season” scenery.
