Tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood in Ota City, Kamado House is a private photo studio that recreates a traditional Japanese kitchen from the early 20th century, complete with a kamado (wood-burning stove) and vintage tools. The quaint space transports you to another era, making it a perfect stop for cultural discovery, family fun, or unforgettable photo sessions.

The facility offers a cooking experience alongside simple kimono rentals and dressing for ¥11,000 (tax included)! You can wear a retro kimono while cooking a delicious meal the traditional Japanese way. It is a quiet, off-the-beaten-path activity you won’t soon forget.

How to get there:

From Haneda Airport, take the Keikyu Airport Line to Keikyu Kamata Station. Then, walk 15 minutes to Kamata Station. Here, board a train on the Tokyu Tamagawa Line, and get off at Yaguchi-no-watashi Station. From there, Kamado House is about a 15-minute walk. The total travel time is roughly 45 minutes.

Alternatively, you can take a direct taxi from Haneda Airport to Kamado House. Depending on traffic, the drive will take between 25 to 40 minutes.
