About Oeshiki

Oeshiki is a Buddhist memorial service held every year to commemorate Nichiren Shonin, the founder of Nichiren Buddhism.

On October 12, known as Otaiya, Ikegami becomes filled with visitors, traditional lanterns, drums, and the vibrant atmosphere of the Manto Procession.

Our local volunteer guides will introduce you to Oeshiki and Ikegami Honmonji Temple, tailored to your interests.
