Landscape / European townscapes in Japanese Art
This exhibition presents five works by Japanese painters who captured European townscapes with distinct techniques and perspectives.
From Hiroki Takahashi’s meditative Afterglow of Rise and Fall (1995), evoking the silent passage of time in historic homes, to Hiroshi Koyama’s dramatic Cliffside Town (Portugal), each painting reveals the artist’s personal vision and emotional landscape.
